This sequence of maps follows the fortunes of Rome as it faces down threats to its very existence in its early days and goes on to dominate the Mediterranean world.

Traces the evolution of Roman government from the early days of Rome under the kings, right through the Republic and into the early Empire.
Suggestions on how to use the TimeMap of World History with your students. They focus on using the free maps, but are equally relevant to the premium maps.
