The Rise of Islam Dynamic History Map, can be used in 2 ways:
1. Presentation Mode:
Animated history maps shows the geogrpahical situation in context and change over time to give a visual overview of the historical period. Ideal for IWB presentations
Teachers Notes provide a crib for the maps explaining what was happening in each frame.
2. Depth Study Mode
'Information points' and 'images' boxes give a new dimension to the product, allowing students to interact with the map to bring up information at specific places or years.
The boxes follow strands of information, such as the development of the Caliphate, the reaction of other civilizations to Islam, key battles, influential people, the impacts of expansion, internal conflicts and much more.
